sweat!Why would I need the Aqua Detox treatment?
For optimum health we need every major organ and cell in our body to be in its state of natural balance and all working perfectly together. When this is happening our body can deal with toxins efficiently.
However, toxins caused by chemicals in food processing, alcohol, tobacco, medication, pollution etc, can accumulate and impair the body’s ability to function efficiently. This is when we begin to suffer from diseases such as digestive disorders, skin problems, headaches, hormonal problems etc…. this is when you will hear us use the term “Your body is out of balance”.
The Aqua Detox unit produces a frequency that gently resonates through your body and stimulates all the cells within. This allows the cells to release and build up of toxins, and regain their natural balance thus enabling them to work efficiently.
Treatments using the Aqua Detox are given through the feet, as this is both convenient and efficient (each foot has over 2000 pores through which toxins can be excreted.
You will be seated in a comfortable chair placing your feet in warm water in the Aqua Detox unit for 30 minutes.
During this time you should relax in the comfortable atmosphere and enjoy the soothing music.
The water in the unit will change colour as the toxins are discharged. The water may actually go very dark, taking on the appearance of ‘muddy water’. It may look alarming but it is perfectly normal.
How many treatments should I have?
Initially, 6 to 8 treatments are recommended, once or twice a week for a month/ This provides a good initial self detox and after this time it is entirely dependant upon how healthy (or unhealthy!) a client feels.
For those suffering from illness the frequency of the treatments should be reduced as your body goes into ‘healing’ mode after each treatment. During this time you may feel tired and lethargic as the body uses its energy to heal itself.
This again is quite normal, and is sometimes followed by a feeling of increased energy.
What are the benefits of Aqua Detox?
There are numerous benefits and many people have had positive results in relation to illnesses. However, like most holistic treatments, the treatment is never the same for any two people due to the possibility of the symptoms being caused by different factors (diet, lifestyle, medication etc).
Can everyone use the Aqua Detox unit?
It is a safe treatment for people of all ages. However the treatment is NOT suitable for people with pacemaker fitted, epileptics and pregnant women (if you have a treatment whilst unaware that you are pregnant, there is no cause for concern but we would advise against further treatments during the pregnancy).
IMPORTANT
The Aqua Detox unit does not remove any medication from the body. It
stimulates the body to re-balance itself, therefore allowing it to
perform natural functions more effectively. The body will not excrete
any vitamins, minerals or medication that are beneficial to it. However
if a client is concerned about this they can take their medication
after the treatment.
